Customer Terms of Service

Plain-English terms governing your use of Bellwether Procurement's free bill audit service.

Effective June 1, 2026
01

Who We Are

Bellwether Procurement is an independent telecom, energy, and payment processing broker operating out of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. We work with a network of suppliers to find better rates for businesses. We are compensated by suppliers through commission. No fees are ever charged directly to you.

02

What You're Agreeing To

By submitting your bill for a free audit, you authorize Bellwether Procurement to review your billing data for the sole purpose of identifying potential savings opportunities and presenting recommendations. You are not agreeing to purchase anything or make any changes to your existing services.

03

How We Use Your Data

Your billing information is used solely to perform the audit and present recommendations tailored to your business. We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for marketing purposes, or use it for any purpose outside this scope. Your data is handled with strict confidentiality and retained for seven (7) years for compliance purposes.

Your data stays yours. We analyze it, we present findings, and we never share it with anyone except suppliers you explicitly authorize us to work with — and only after you approve a specific order.

04

No Obligation

Receiving an audit report does not obligate you to purchase any service or make any changes to your existing setup. Every recommendation is optional. You are free to review our findings and decline to proceed — no pressure, no follow-up you didn't ask for.

05

No Service Changes Without Your Approval

No changes to your existing services will ever be made without your explicit written approval of a specific order. This is a firm commitment. Federal anti-slamming regulations prohibit unauthorized service changes, and we take this seriously. You approve every order before anything moves forward.

06

Broker Compensation Disclosure

If you choose to proceed with a recommendation and a new service is ordered, Bellwether Procurement receives a commission from the supplier. This commission is paid by the supplier — it does not increase your service costs and is not deducted from any savings you realize.

07

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Any disputes arising from your use of our services that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to binding arbitration in Eau Claire County, Wisconsin.
