Privacy Policy
Effective July 29, 2026
Bellwether Procurement LLC (“Bellwether,” “we,” “us”) is an independent telecommunications broker. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to evaluate and service a telecommunications account:
- Contact information you provide — name, business name, email address, telephone number, and job title.
- Property and account information — building addresses, telecommunications invoices you send us, line inventories, service details, and contract dates.
- Communication records — notes from calls, emails, and text messages exchanged with us, including recordings or transcripts where we have disclosed that a call is being handled by an automated assistant.
- Website information — basic server logs generated when you visit our site, such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed.
How we use it
- To audit your telecommunications invoices and identify replacement options.
- To prepare quotes and proposals, and to submit orders to suppliers on your authorization.
- To communicate with you about an audit, an order, a scheduled call, or a service issue.
- To meet our record-keeping, tax, and legal obligations.
We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not build profiles for purposes unrelated to the service you asked us about.
Text messaging and consent
We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party.
We send text messages only to people who have asked us to. Consent is given by ticking the SMS consent box on a form on this website, which is separate from any other agreement on the page, is not ticked by default, and is not required to submit the form. We record the date and the exact wording you agreed to. Messages are transactional: links you asked for, appointment reminders, replies to your messages, and updates on work you have engaged us for.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for assistance. Opting out of text messages does not affect any other communication or service.
When we share information
We share information only where it is necessary to do the work you engaged us for:
- Suppliers and distributors — when you authorize us to obtain quotes or place an order, we provide the account and service information required to process it.
- Service providers — vendors who help us operate, such as telephony, email delivery, electronic signature, scheduling, and hosting providers, limited to what each needs to perform its function.
- Legal requirements — where disclosure is required by law or to protect our legal rights.
How we protect it
Records are held on infrastructure we control, with access limited to those who need it. Credentials are stored in an encrypted password manager, transport is encrypted, and backups are encrypted at rest. No system is perfect, but we keep the number of places your information lives deliberately small.
How long we keep it
We retain audit and account records for as long as we service the account, and afterward for the period our tax and contractual obligations require. If you ask us to delete information we are not required to keep, we will.
Your choices
- Ask what information we hold about you, and receive a copy.
- Ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete information we are not legally required to retain.
- Opt out of text messages by replying STOP, or of email by using the unsubscribe link in any message.
Email terry@bellwetherprocurement.com or call (715) 620-9212 and we will handle it.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. Material changes affecting how we use information already collected will be communicated to active clients directly.
